Who

AI Werkplaats Texel is the trade name of TEXELSWERK, the sole proprietorship of Bram van den Elst, based on Texel, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 63793385. Questions about privacy: bram@aiwerkplaatstexel.nl.

What the site itself does

• No cookies. The site sets no cookies. Your choice of light or dark mode is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and never leaves your device.
• Hosting via Cloudflare. Cloudflare delivers the pages through a worldwide network and processes technically necessary data such as your IP address to deliver the page and fend off abuse, on the basis of legitimate interest: a safe, working site. Cloudflare is a US company and participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Visitor statistics, when enabled, run through Cloudflare Web Analytics. That works without cookies and without tracking individual visitors. I only see totals: number of visits, pages and origin.
• Fonts are served from this site itself, not from Google. No request goes to third parties to display the page.

When you get in touch

If you call, email, message or fill in the contact form, I use your name, contact details and your question to reply and, if it leads to an assignment, to carry it out and invoice it. I do so on the basis of my legitimate interest in answering your question, or to prepare and perform an agreement with you. If your question does not lead to an assignment, I delete your data within a year. For invoices the statutory retention period of seven years applies.

• Contact form. What you fill in is sent to me as an email via Brevo, a European email service with servers in the EU, and lands in my mailbox at Google (Gmail). The form sets no cookies.
• Book a call opens a scheduler by Cal.com. What you enter there (name, email, time) is stored at Cal.com, a US service, and in my calendar, so it may be stored outside the EU. See the Cal.com privacy policy. The scheduler only loads when you click the button.
• WhatsApp opens the app by Meta. The WhatsApp privacy policy applies to those messages.
• LinkedIn is a link to my profile; LinkedIn applies its own terms.

Sharing with others

I do not sell data and do not pass it on, except to the services named above insofar as needed to display the site or answer your question. With suppliers that process personal data for me, I conclude data processing agreements.

Your rights

You may access, correct, delete or transfer your data, restrict the processing and object to it. Email bram@aiwerkplaatstexel.nl; I respond within four weeks. If we cannot work it out, you can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
