AI Werkplaats Texel

Three stories from practice

What does it really deliver?

No fine promises, just delivered work. Three examples of business owners who handed over routine work: what was going on, what I built and what it brought them.

01 Hospitality · recruitment

A restaurant that now manages its own vacancies

The situation

A hospitality business on Texel was continuously looking for staff, but depended on third parties for every change to the website. Vacancies were out of date online and applications came in unstructured by email.

The solution

  • A recruitment site of its own with an admin environment where the owner updates vacancies, copy and photos themselves
  • Applications come in structured and the applicant automatically receives a confirmation
  • Vacancies are set up technically so they appear in Google's job listings

The result

A new vacancy is live within a few minutes, without a middleman and without waiting. The owner has an overview of all applications in one place.

02 Sailing school · bookings

A sailing school where the admin sails along by itself

The situation

At a sailing school in the Wadden Sea region, bookings ran by phone and email. Payments, confirmations and rescheduling lessons were all handwork, in the middle of the season.

The solution

  • Online booking on available times, matched to the hours instructors are actually there
  • Payment at booking via iDEAL, with automatic confirmation by email
  • Customers reschedule their own lesson online, without back-and-forth emails
  • The school manages prices, offering and settings entirely by itself

The result

The phone is no longer a booking office. Booking, paying and confirming run by themselves, and everything sits in the school's own accounts: transferable and without a subscription obligation.

03 Holiday rentals · administration

Rental administration that sets itself up

The situation

A holiday rental company entered every new accommodation into the booking system by hand: texts in several languages, photos, rates and products. Hours of clicking per accommodation, and error-prone.

The solution

  • An automation that sets up an accommodation completely in the booking system in one go
  • Multilingual texts, photos and rate settings come along automatically
  • Every accommodation is set up in exactly the same way, without forgotten steps

The result

What used to be hours of handwork per accommodation is now a matter of minutes. Consistent, repeatable and without input errors.
